RECRUITMENT

At Omnia Security, we follow strict recruitment, selection, and screening procedures to ensure we employ only the highest calibre of personnel. All candidates are thoroughly vetted in accordance with British Standard BS7858:2019, including comprehensive background checks, identity verification, employment history validation, and criminal record screening.

In addition, all security officers are required to hold a valid SIA licence before commencing any assignment.

Only candidates who meet our rigorous standards progress through our recruitment and induction process. This ensures we consistently deploy reliable, professional, and fully qualified security personnel across all sites.

STAFF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT

At Omnia Security UK, we recognise that training and continuous development are essential to delivering high-quality, dependable security services.

All staff receive comprehensive in-house training, along with site-specific and client-specific induction programmes tailored to each assignment.

HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING

All personnel receive health and safety training prior to deployment, including full instruction on emergency procedures, workplace safety standards, and site-specific risk awareness.

Training is regularly reviewed and updated, particularly when operational procedures or site requirements change. This ensures full compliance and maintains the highest standards of safety, responsibility, and operational effectiveness.

Refresher courses and additional training are delivered as required to ensure our teams remain fully competent, confident, and capable of responding appropriately in any situation.

COUNTER TERRORISM TRAINING

Omnia Security officers receive specialist awareness training relating to counter terrorism and protective security measures.

This includes ACT Awareness training (Action Counters Terrorism) developed by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO) and supported by the Centre for the Protection of National Infrastructure (CPNI).

This training ensures our personnel understand the nature of terrorist threats, how to identify suspicious activity, and how to respond effectively in line with nationally recognised best practice guidance.

PRESENTATION & PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS
